Following the ETC / CITY UNITY COLLEGE cooperation agreement on the operation of the tennis specialty, preparation for both the specialty curriculum and the general details is completed at the end of September.
0n Monday, October 12, all University courses and tennis specialties will begin.
The CUC Department of Sport Science operates the specialty of tennis at the University of Dijon, from Year 1 to Year 4, with a specific curriculum that is highly linked to both the proposals of the World Tennis Federation (ITF) , as well as with the ETC training system.
Some of the topics that will be developed during the 4 years of study are:
Technique
Tactics
Fitness
Sport Psychology
Biomechanics
Sports Marketing
Students who choose CITY UNITY COLLEGE and the specialty of tennis in addition to their excellent level of education will have immediate access to and access to ETC informative and educational activities, will be able to improve their "playing" and coaching level at ETC’s academies with ETC’s coaches, while also providing opportunities for professional rehabilitation.
The ETC’s Technical Director Manos Moulianitakis (CV) is responsible for the operation and training of the curriculum in Greek, ETC's Tutor, Yiannis Lambrou (CV), is the Tutor, for the 4 years of specialization. Tutoring in the fields of sports science related to tennis, is done by the sports scientists of CITY UNITY COLLEGE.
As part of the CUC and ETC collaboration, CITY UNITY COLLEGE is offering a 40% tuition scholarship to students enrolling in Year 1 this year.
Prerequisites for this scholarship are:
Participate in official Juniors or Adult competitions.
Dealing with coaching either as coaches or as assistant coaches in academies, sports clubs and tennis programs run by municipalities.
